Aviation Tales (Civvie & SAAF) Over the years, I have heard countless aviation tales told ? especially from the SAAF and the Chopper Boys of course. Most of these stories were humorous, many were embarrassing, a few were sad, a couple told of amazing flying feats and some were downright court martial material ? but one thing they always did was bring back great memories, never mind the great entertainment they provided.

It was an awesome 2 years which set such a wonderfull grounding for the rest of my aviation career.

This Mrs Diedrichs woman sounds like a piece of work though, at least the current lot are pleasant and polite to deal with.
So you were an Ostrich or Tupperware loadie then.

Ostrich because they would run and run and run and never fly from Waterkloof on a hot summers day and Tupperware because the cargo compartment floor of the Transie could carry the same as a Herk in lbs/sq ft what a Herk carried in lbs/sq inch.

Expect intervention from Device shortly

PS I was rated on both.
