Re: War on leather
Thanks Bingo,
Informative and quite correct but a lot has been left out. There is also a vetting process whereby the club will check out the prospects background to see if he is who he claims to be. Even high school yearbooks will be checked out and the group also has the means to check out social, business and criminal backgrounds.
Someone trying to infiltrate the club is playing with his life, yet the club has been succesfully infiltrated by officers of the ATF (Ammunition, Tabacco and Firearms), a federal law enforcement agency.
In Australia they took out the "Silver Fox", retired police commander Don Hancock with a car bomb in front of his house and then razed his retirement property.
In Amsterdam bodies often turn up in the canals and they occupy a prime piece of land and buildings owned by the city with its blessing.
Their wars against other clubs are serious. In Sweden the Bandidos stole anti tank rocket launchers from Swedish armouries to use against them. In Dammen, near Oslo, Norway the Angels levelled the Bandidos multistory HQ building in the city centre with explosives.
Hangers on and prospects will be required to do a lot of this work as proof of their ability to join the club and to prove that they are not undercover police officers.
I have a photograph of a bike I took in Hamburg Germany. It has a sticker on the side panel that says, "Support your local Hells Angels Hamburg". No, I didn't sit on it to pose for a photo.
